Our Story
Founded in 2016, Atlantech Environmental Studies started as a small garage business, in the city of Curitiba, Brazil.
Initially, we had just one personal computer, which we used to run very simple data analyses, and one great idea: be the first small business focused on sustainable use of oceanic resources.
Over the years, we have specialized in conducting numerical studies of the ocean dynamics and the interaction between the oceans and the atmosphere. Our studies are focused on understanding how human activities impact the climate of the planet and how the ocean can help to avoid global warming by absorbing the excess of carbon dioxide produced by humans

Our Team
Our business started from the partnership between a visionary oceanographer, Ivan (ivan@atlantech.tech), and a practical and efficient business administrator, Gisele (gisele@atlantech.tech).
Today, Ivan is CEO/CTO, the research scientist participating in meetings, coordinating the preparation of scientific reports, running the numerical simulations of ocean dynamics and leading the environmental studies, while Gisele is the CFO/COO who keeps things running and deal with contracts, employees and clients.
We also have a small group of temporary collaborators, including short-term interns and research scientists, and we rely on the partnership with professors and research scientists from Universities and Research Institutes.
